Can I customize my order?

In how many days can I expect my order?

We process your order within 24-48 hours of completion of the transaction. We ship throughout the week, except Sundays & Public holidays. You can expect your order to be delivered to you in 12-15 working days in major cities and 15-20 days for other locations as per your pin code. You will be notified with the shipping details & may track your order online once it is dispatched.

What are the shipping & delivery charges for domestic & international orders?

Shipping for orders in India is free. The cost for International shipping is calculated based on the cumulative weight of the entire order. In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by you (i.e. wrong name, address or contact number) any extra cost towards re-delivery shall be claimed by the user placing the order. Overhead taxes/charges may be levied on few destinations displayed on the site, based on real time transport laws.These charges are not refundable and shall be borne by the customer. In the event of cancellation of the order the overhead may not be refunded. Prakavakshar Fashions (India) Private Limited (“The House of Akshar”) is not liable to pay any Duties or Taxes for International Shipping.

How can I pay for my order?

You may choose to pay for your order through Debit/Credit Card, Online wallets, UPI, Net banking etc. The payment options will be available at order checkout.

What is the return policy?

Every single piece designed and produced in The House of Akshar goes through stringent quality checks before dispatch. Unevenness in colour & texture of the fabric is not a fault but a beautiful characteristic of the organic fibre and sustainable. To this effect, we do not offer cash refunds on orders due to the time and labor that goes into each product. We do NOT accept returns; but refunds (exchange or store credit) are processed based on fulfilment errors such as incorrectly shipped or missing items, or sizing issues. If you feel the outer packaging is tampered with or damaged, you can refuse to accept the delivery. Contact us immediately with your order number. Any purchase can be exchanged for a different size. In case the size is not available, we shall provide you store credit within one week of initiation, which will be valid for three months.
